Wallace Gate & Iron was founded by Luke Wallace in 2024. A life long artist, builder, welder and fabricator, Luke found his passion and purpose by giving people additional mobility, via making custom handrails. He found giving people the additional support they need to get in and out of their homes very satisfying and rewarding. These handrails are more than just that. They are functional pieces of art for your home.
We specialize in Handrails, but we make metal things of all sorts. From mild to wild, there’s no end to our creativity. Whether we are a puzzle piece to fit into your production line, or your one stop Design to Installation answer, we do it all with service, style, and love.

From concept to final installation, our process takes your ideas and makes them a reality.
Using CAD, cardboard, Illustrator and plain old paper and pen, we bring your ideas to life, first on the page, then in real life. Actual project pics:

Mobile Welding and Repair
We have our own mobile welding and repair rig. Got a gate out of line? Well fix it. Got some broken thing? We will fix that.
We fix everything but a broken heart and the crack of dawn.
Ain’t broke? We’ll fix that too :)

Luke custom created two beautiful iron gates and a custom hand rail for my porch steps. Luke and I worked together to develop the design for all of these. It wasn’t a requirement, I just like doing it. Luke is a master craftsman and has a great eye for design.
I weigh about 200 lbs and require assistance walking. The porch stair railing is not only elegant but also easily supports my physical needs.
